The Shinobu Seattle Budokan trains in the ancient art of Ninjutsu. This art comes directly from
Soke Masaaki Hatsumi, Grandmaster of the Bujinkan Dojo,
headquartered in Noda-city, Japan.
The techniques are relaxed and energy
conserving, focusing on using the body as a whole. Shinkengata (Real Fight Style) forms the
driving force behind technique and is always stressed during training. The result is a distinct
style of movement only found in certified Shinobu Dojos. Students continuously train in three
areas: stand-up fighting, ground fighting, and weapons skills.
The Shinobu Seattle Budokan
is a certified Shinobu and Bujinkan Dojo and is under the direction of
Shihan Alex G. Mordine.
